About the event
Each session features a new plant, along with guided instruction in foundational embroidery stitches. In this session, we'll be stitching the Woodland Poppy. A gorgeous yellow flower which starts to bloom in April.
Build your skills over time or drop in when you can—each class stands on its own. In this session you'll be learning the french knot, sheath stitch, and long and short stitches to fill in our flower.
Perfect for beginners and experienced stitchers alike.
All materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring a bag, garment, or personal textile if you’d like to stitch on something of your own.
Weather is unpredictable for thi time of year. If it is cold, be sure to wear fingerless gloves and layers as we'll be outside under the pavilion.
